Jim Dittman founded Dittman Incentive Marketing in 1976. In his career, Jim has been named “Incentive Executive of the Year” by the Motivation Show, one of the “25 Most Influential People in the Travel Business” by Business Travel News, and Dittman Incentive Marketing has been named one of the “five most innovative incentive companies” in the U.S. by Successful Meetings magazine.
Jim’s articles on performance improvement have appeared widely in business publications, and he has been a keynote speaker and conducted workshops and seminars for over 35 years.
A past President of The Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE), Jim was also a trustee of the SITE Foundation, which funds independent research in the field. He is an advisor to the Motivation Show, and he was one of the founding trustees of the People Performance Management Forum at Northwestern University, which studies the correlation between people performance and measurable business results. Jim is also a past president of the Performance Improvement Council of the Incentive Marketing Association and is a founding sponsor of the Enterprise Engagement Alliance.
Prior to launching Dittman Incentive Marketing, Jim held marketing management positions with the Bendix Corporation, Litton Industries, and the SCM Corporation. He also taught marketing at Middlesex College. Jim is a Dean's List graduate of Rutgers University with a BS in Marketing.
